Yes, it’s true. Mr. Archer never passed judgement and always had his unique way of encouraging the us in our youthful and not so youthful age to look at life from a positive perspective. He traveled through life always with a smile on his face and a friendly greeting and wisdom when you needed it. He was a great role model for the young men in the building always handing out very wise advice to my brother. He was a class act, respectful and humble. He last but not least was a great husband to his wife, father to his son and daughter-in-law, grandfather to his grandsons and a great asset to his extended family. My family wishes peace and blessings to all his family members and those who knew him. He leaves an indelible impression upon us all. He will be sorely missed. Goodnite Neighbor

Edwin, your dad was an amazing ma. He and his wife were always so gracious and kind to me and especially Seydou. Nothing but kind words for him. Always ran into him and his wife walking around the neighborhood and always remember how he would attend school events for Christian. A great man indeed. Continued prayers and blessing to and your family

To the Archer Family words can’t express what Mr. Archer meant to us, but i can tell you what he meant to me, “class”. He was a Gentlemen and wanted the best out of you. I will always remember that when you meet a member of the human family you should look a man in the eye and give him a strong handshake to symbolize you as a strong black man in a time when we needed to be strong. Mr.Archer is to be remember by his walk though life has one who loves his family and can look you in the eye with joy and love. Now he can shake GOD’s hand.

Growing up at 333, Mr. Archer was one of the few dads who was around and among those who were, he was a role model to all of us young cats. He never passed judgement on us in his quiet strength. Thanks for sharing your dad Ed, Jr. With love, Lorenzo
